It’s been some time since I posted. To be honest with you, life overtook me a little bit, what with having a young family and a stressful job, I had other priorities for a bit (sorry!). I’ve been working on some projects in the background. I will do my best to share them here soon.

First an update on the 109 blanket, I previously posted my updates here and in my last post here, I was wondering whether I would manage to get it completed in the next six months!!

The good news is that I did! I managed to get it completed in around February 2022. It is just as beautiful as I hoped and I enjoyed every second of making it.

I’m not a huge fan of projects that go on and on, but the colour changes and the fact that you can see a pile of squares piling up appeals to me and gives me the motivation to continue.

The blanket is a good size and when not used for snuggling purposes, looks great sitting in my lounge. Fantastic alternative to “traditional” granny square blankets, a modern twist!

Overall I’m really pleased with how this turned out!
