This is a totally scrummy, totally frugal but fairly fatty recipe that was given to me by my neighbour. She tells me that its a “scouse” tradition and reminds her of her childhood. It all came about on Christmas Eve.

Scheepjes have recently released this new yarn called “Whirl”. It comes in this giant “cake” of yarn which is 1000m long. Easily long enough for a shawl I thought!.
