Mummy Knitting – Part 3, (The Crochet Edit…)

Here is the final post sharing pictures of the knitting (and crochet!) that I’ve been doing for my baby daughter.

This time, the crochet stuff.  In this post I shared details of the crochet blanket that was made for her.  I’m of the opinion that you can’t have too many blankets and so I have also crocheted a couple of blankets for her.  Trust me, they all get used in the various different places that she sleeps (why do babies need so much stuff??).

Firstly, this square blanket made using scheepjes whirl (my fave!).  At the time I started this, I didn’t know if I was having a girl or a boy so chose this bright rainbow yarn.

The pattern is one I’ve made up.  I think I wrote it down somewhere but a baby ate my brain and I can’t for the life of me remember where! haha!

I also crocheted (another) Joy’s Journey blanket (by Dedri Uys).  I’ve made several of these in various different sizes!  This one is lap / pram sized and is made with snuggly wool so is nice and warm.

Finally, I know this is the crochet edit, but this is the final piece of knitting that I have been doing.

This is Clementine by The Noble Thread.  It’s a DK-weight little dress but I’ve used Scheepjes Stonewashed, which is technically “sport-weight”, a bit thinner so I’ve made a bigger size.

Once again I was struggling with choosing buttons, so I went with “both of them”!

That’s all for now!

Happy hooking!

Beautiful projects especially that rainbow blanket. I have been meaning to make Joy’s Journey for ages but I haven’t had just the right yarn for it. Yours is perfect.
