New Pattern! This time it’s knitting!

I’ve been beavering away at a new pattern using Scheepjes Whirl and I’m excited to be able to say that the pattern has now been released!

As you’ve possibly spotted by now, I love Scheepjes Whirl, however I felt that the knitters amongst us were getting slightly left out of the party.  There are a few knitting patterns for a whirl, but nowhere near as many as there are crochet patterns.

I decided therefore that my next pattern would be a knitting pattern, trying to even up the balance a bit!  So here it is.  Introducing “Sophia” a super quick to knit poncho, perfect for keeping in your bag for when the sun comes out to play but its still not quite summer!

You can get your hands of a free copy of Sophie on Ravelry until 23:59 on 17th March (hurry hurry!).  After that she can be purchased for the very reasonable price of £3.50.

I knitted her using Liquorice Yum Yum which fades from black to white.  That means that I have a reversible poncho, black to the front or white??

If you’re interested in getting Sophia in your life, you can find her here on Ravelry.
