In my quest to find fast but interesting dinners, I’ve recently taken to adding things to baked-beans to make them even more tasty when put on a jacket-potato (or toast I suppose!)
I thought I’d share a few of my favourite recipes with you…and whilst I’m at it you might like…
My top-tip for speedy jacket potatoes…
…prick them all over with a knife then cook them in the microwave for 5-8 minutes, until they are mostly soft on the inside. Put a skewer through them then coat in margarine/ butter and sprinkle with salt. Put them in the oven for about 20 minutes, the skin should have crisped up but without them taking the hour or so they would have taken from “scratch”!
On-with the “recipes”, if you can call them that? Go on, tinker with them to create your own “Beanz Meanz Mmmm”! :o)
Enjoy!
